National Eisteddfod set for Wrexham in 2025!!

As part of a renewed bit for City of Culture status in 2029 Wrexham have been granted the opportunity to become hosts for the National Eisteddfod during the Summer of 2025.  The National Eisteddfod is a celebration of the Welsh language and culture and takes place during the first week of August annually.  The festival travels from place to place, alternating between North and South Wales and attracts over 150,000 visitors and over 250 tradestands and stalls.  Several events will take place in and around Wrexham during the next few years as the local community rallies around to fundraise for the event.
